We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/revDSG). We only collect, process, and store personal data that is necessary to provide and operate this website and our services. We do not sell your data.

3. Visiting the website (server logs)

When you visit nielsenai.ch, our hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) automatically processes technical data that your browser transmits, such as your IP address (typically truncated/anonymised), the date and time of access, the page requested, and your browser and device type. This data is processed to deliver the site securely and reliably and to defend against attacks. We do not combine it with other data or use it to identify you.

4. Analytics (cookieless)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (e.g. which pages are viewed). This service does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track you across other sites. The data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to an individual.

5. Cookies

This website does not set its own tracking or marketing cookies. Any cookies strictly necessary for embedded third-party services (see below) are governed by those providers' own policies.

6. Booking a Discovery Session (Calendly)

To book a meeting, we use Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). When you open the booking page or embed, Calendly processes the data you enter (such as your name, email address, and chosen time) to schedule the meeting. This data is processed under Calendly's privacy policy: calendly.com/privacy. You only share this data if you choose to book.

7. Contacting us by email

If you email us (e.g. via the address on this site), we process your email address, your name, and the content of your message to respond. Our email runs on Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet any legal retention duties.

Web fonts are hosted on our own server. No connection is made to an external font provider, and your IP address is not transmitted to one.

9. Disclosure to third parties / processors

We share personal data only with the service providers needed to operate the site and our services — currently the hosting, analytics, booking, and email providers named above — and only to the extent necessary. These providers act as our processors and are bound to process data on our instructions. We do not otherwise pass your data to third parties unless legally required to.

10. Data transfer abroad

Some of the providers above (Cloudflare, Calendly, Google) are based in or process data in the USA or other countries outside Switzerland/the EU. Where data is transferred to a country without an equivalent level of protection, the transfer is safeguarded by appropriate contractual measures (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with a Swiss addendum) and/or the providers' certification under applicable data-transfer frameworks.

11. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

12. Your rights

Under the FADP you have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to request its correction, deletion, or restriction. You may also object to certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB), edoeb.admin.ch.

13. Visitors from the EU (GDPR)

If you access this site from the European Union, the GDPR may also apply to the processing of your data. In that case you have, in addition, the rights to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. The legal bases for processing are our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where you contact or book with us, the steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
